Pet Shop Boys se burla del mundo moderno en dos nuevas canciones

Los Pet Shop Boys sí que saben hacer de lo malo una fuente de creatividad. Este viernes 8 de febrero, la banda estrenará un EP llamado ‘Agenda’ y, previo a su lanzamiento oficial, sus creadores liberaron dos piezas sobrecargadas de crítica y sintes.

 “Es una canción que hace sátira a la baja calidad de nuestros ‘líderes políticos’ en el mundo moderno” así describe Neil Tennant, integrante del dúo, a la canción ‘Give stupidity a chance’. El tema, hace una sutil crítica a Donald Trump y a uno de los partidarios del Brexit, Michael Gove.

Por otro lado, el single ‘On Social Media’ se refiere a la peligrosa relación que la humanidad mantiene con sus redes sociales.

En tanto al EP, Tennant asegura que “este contiene tres canciones satíricas y una triste. Creo que esto se debe a los tiempos que estamos viviendo” .
