Este domingo 4 de Marzo se llevará a cabo la entrega n°90 de los Premios Oscar, lo que significa que durante estos días están todos los ojos puestos en el cine, no obstante, si te fuiste de vacaciones, estuviste corto de plata, no tuviste internet y no pudiste ver todas las películas, ¡no es problema! Aquí está todo lo que tienes que saber para sentarte a ver los premios sin quedar colgado.
Antes de comenzar con los nominados, es necesario tener presentes algunos datos sobre esta entrega.
Este año los nominados fueron más diversos, según un artículo publicado por The Washington Post, donde se analizaron 1.100 películas, 665 directores, entre ellos 43 mujeres y 7 mujeres afrodescendientes, se concluyó que en pleno 2018 la Academia está reinventándose a la hora de nominar, esto se refleja en que este año, en la categoría Mejor Director, de los 5 nominados hay una mujer (Greta Gerwig) y un hombre afroamericano (Jordan Peele), cabe destacar que en esta categoría a lo largo de la historia de los premios sólo han sido nominados en 4 ocasiones mujeres y afrodescendientes, en el caso de las primeras sólo han ganado una vez la estatuilla, en el caso de los segundos, nunca.
En la categoría de Mejor Fotografía está nominada por primera vez una mujer, Rachel Morrison por su trabajo en Mudbound.
La entrega de este año será conducida por Jimmy Kimmel y contará con las interpretaciones de Natalia Lafourcade, Gael García Bernal y Miguel (Recuérdame, Coco), Mary J. Blige (Mighty River, Mudbound), Common y Andra Day (Stand Up, Marshall), Sufjan Stevens (Mystery of Love, Call Me By Your Name) y Keala Settle (This is Me, El Gran Showman) nominados a Mejor Canción Original.
