Kolumbia se une a Manuel García en su nuevo sencillo “Una Vieja Carta”

El grupo chileno Kolumbia  vive el mejor año de su carrera. Luego de postergar el lanzamiento de su disco debut “Dime quién soy”, este llega finalmente y con colaboraciones de los hermanos Durán (Lanza Internacional, Pillanes). Su trabajo más reciente es “Una Vieja Carta”, el primer sencillo de su siguiente producción y en compañía del cantautor chileno Manuel García.

A pesar de que los músicos de la banda y García son viejos conocidos, nunca habían trabajado juntos, sin embargo sus raíces con el norte de Chile inspiraron esta nueva composición. “Una vieja carta” no sólo incluye las voces de Manuel García y Camilo Catalán, también marca el debut vocal de su baterista Stephanie “Taffy” Donicke, quien ha trabajado con artistas nacionales como Denise Rosenthal y Javiera Mena.

Esta canción marca el comienzo de una nueva etapa para la banda, que desea incorporar nuevas sonoridades y más colaboraciones. “Es una canción hecha por provincianos y dedicada a la gente de regiones. Habla sobre el carácter quijotesco que tiene la gente de provincia para dejar todo en pos de perseguir un sueño” señaló Camilo Catalán.
