El 28 de septiembre de 2014, el Teatro Fonda de Hollywood recibió a un variado grupo de artistas que le rindieron tributo al fallecido George Harrison. El show fue registrado en su integridad y para inicios del próximo año se alista el estreno de George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison, un filme acompañado de un disco que verá la luz el 26 de febrero.
El registro que será editado en Blu-Ray, DVD, CD, Vinilo y descarga digital, contó con el liderazgo de Dhani Harrison, el músico y único hijo del ex Beatle. Junto a Dhani se presentaron una innumerable lista de artistas como Brian Wilson, Norah Jones, Brandon Flowers, The Flaming Lips, Perry Farrell, Britt Daniel -vocalista de Spoon-, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Cold War Kids, Nick Valensi -guitarrista de The Strokes– y los comediantes Conan O’Brien y “Weird Al” Yankovic.
